Lulu was named as the sole inheritor of Dorris, her owner's, will after he crossed the rainbow bridge. He didn't leave her just some spare change, no, he left her five million dollars. Let that number sink in for a second. What could a dog pawwsibly do with that much money? Well, Dorris made sure that Lulu would "live like royalty" until her final days, with every vet visit, toy, and bag of food paid for by this millionaire trust fund. 

The main question that comes up is this: is this act heartwarming devotion or extreme excess? Many argue that, even if Lulu ate the fanciest food and traveled to Florida every year for the winter, she still wouldn't even come close to using up her trust fund. On the other hand, it's nice to see a person making sure their most loved family member is taken care of even after they're gone.

Is it too much? Well, we'll leave that up to you. If we had $5 million dollars, we'd probably give at least some of it to our doggos. It's the least they deserve for giving us a lifetime of happiness.
